Encyclopedia Galactica Continuity

The timeline below is based on the Encyclopedia Galactica, a hardcover book written by Bruce Kraus and published by Windmill Books and E.P. Duttton in 1979. The Encyclopedia was
produced with the permission of Universal City Studios and so fits into the category of "official" publications, if not "canonical".

A timeline at the back of the book covers events from the Prehistory of Kobol through to the Destruction of the battlestar Pegasus. The dates below are taken from these entries, and from further references throughout the book.

Extrapolating from these entries, I have added the remainder of the original series episodes. This timeline does not include Galactica 1980, which was not referenced.

The timeline is given in yahrens. Yahrens, according to Bruce Kraus, are considerably shorter than Earth years.
