Galactica Fanfic and RPG Timelines

 

Since it first aired, Battlestar Galactica has captured the imaginations of it's fans, and as a result fictional stories written by fans (fanfic) has flourished.  These fanfic universes are often well fleshed out, complete with timelines.

In addition to fanfic timelines are the roleplaying game (RPG) timelines.  In every roleplaying game, whether online or not, there is a need to set up the parameters of that universe, and this includes providing a history of that world.   The Battlestar Galactica online RPGs and MUSHes are no different.

At some point, I will do some analysis of the RPG and FanFic timelines that are out there on the Web, but for the moment, here is a set of links to the various histories that are out there.

http://www.withoutaclue.com/bsm2/  This is the main site of Battlestar MUSH.  I couldn't find any timeline data, but I do know that Battlestar Mush takes place right as the last episode of the Classic series and does not take into consideration any of the Galactica 1980 series.

 

http://www.msu.edu/~stacey/Galactica/gal-time.htm  Colonial Timeline for a fan fiction universe where the stories are set at three points in history - after the events of "The Hand of God", years before when the characters from the show are in the Academy, and long ago during the Cylon War.
