Battlestar Galactica Timelines
TIMELINES
Introduction
As Richard "Apollo" Hatch has noted, since 1979 when the original Battlestar Galactica television series first went off the air, fans have continually speculated as to what would have happened next to the characters they came to know and love.
There has been no shortage of theories. In addition to the various types of fan fiction that have been produced, there have been many officially licensed novels, comic books and, of course, the much derided sequel series Galactica 1980.
Most recently, Ronald D. Moore and the Sci-Fi Channel have announced their intention to develop a new Battlestar Galactica television mini-series, which would re-imagine the ideas of the original series.
Each of these storylines offers a different look at the potential fates of our favorite Galacticans. And each of these is explored on this site.
On the pages linked to below are annotated timelines, philosophical musings, and guides for the main Battlestar Galactica series and well as some of the "non-canonical" Battlestar Galactica material.
