Universal Studios Trip Page

In May of 2002, Janet and I went to visit Universal Studios which are located near Hollywood.   Here are some pictures..

First off, to the right is the globe outside of the main gate..

 

 

Here's Janet at the Back to the Future ride.. that is of course the original car from the movie out front..

 

 

 

 

 

 

Outside one of the stages with part of the fleet of golf carts that zoom around the studio..

And here's the mechanical shark from JAWS!

 

 

 

 

 

Also on the lot is the Bates motel, and house, from the movie Psycho.

 

 

 

 

 

 

And the Back to the Future set.. this is where Marty and the Professor set up the device to set him back to 1985 (which was the present at that time).

 

 

 

Janet and the Incredible Hulk.. well, a statue of him anyway.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And Mark and the Blues Brothers car.   Yes, that is a fellow dressed up as Fred Flintstone in the back.. he was one of the staff..

 

 

 

 

 

 

That's all folks!   (oops that's the Warner Bros. sign off - - oh well, close enough.. their studio is just down the road)
