Summer Vacation(s) 2005
2005 was the year of our many visits to Canada. In January, Janet went up to Vancouver Island to visit Andrew, Leah and little Kate and then headed up to Campbell River to be with Lauren as little Mallory was brought into the world. Then, in May, Mark went up to Toronto to do some work there. Then, in July, we both went up to Calgary to visit with another new niece, Ashley Paige and her parents Mike and Jackie. Finally, in August we went up to Whitehorse in the Yukon to be there for Janet's Dad's retirement party. We had a great trip and here are some pictures.
That's it for trips to Canada for a little while though - Mark's passport expires this week! September 20, 2005
CHAPTER ONE - CALGARY TRIP JULY 2005
Here's a picture of the Weller crew out at Kananaskis, which is west of Calgary in the mountains.

Ok, so this next one is actually not from July - but is the announcement picture for Ashley when she was born.
While in Calgary, we went to visit the Calgary Zoo which also has a cheezy Dinosaur park which I remember going to when I was a kid. Here's me with the Anklyosaurus. Right on.
CHAPTER TWO - WHITEHORSE TRIP AUGUST 2005
Here's a picture we really like, so much that we put it on the homepage. That's us out in the wilderness north of Whitehorse with Mount Byng in the background.
Caribou Ranch
While visiting we spent a good amount of time outside. Here's a picture of Kevin Martineau, in one of the Argos out at a place called the Caribou Ranch. An old crew trailer that was abandoned by a mining company, the Ranch now functions as a home away from home for travellers out in the Yukon wilderness. It sure beats tenting, I can tell you that!
Dresses and Suits
On Bob McNeill's birthday, all the kids dressed up for the occasion. The impromptu photo session that ensued was at times pretty silly, and I think this photo captures that. The older fellow is Bob, and he is holding Kate McNeill. On the left standing is Josh McNeill, and on the right standing is his brother Ethan. The two girls standing are Sydney Martineau on the left and her sister Bethany Martineau on the right. Then, seated on the floor is little Mallory Martineau on the left and keeping a watchful eye is her cousin Gracie McNeill.
